| FULL DESCRIPTION |
| The Daqp-16 PCMCIA data acquisition
card provides 8 differential or 16 single-ended analog input
channels, expandable to 256 with input expansion adapters.
Its bipolar input range extends from ¡À1.25V to ¡À10V. Programmable
gains are in steps of 1, 2, 4 and 8. The Daqp-16 supports
sampling rates of up to 100 kS/sec at 12-bit resolution.
Equipped with a 4K Data FIFO, the Daqp-16 can achieve full
speed data acquisition under Windows. It also has a 2048
entry Scan FIFO which supports full speed random order channel
scanning and gain selection. Compared with other manufacturers'
cards providing smaller FIFOs or no FIFOs, the Daqp-16 significantly
reduces CPU overhead.
The Daqp-16 has a 24-bit pacer clock (programmable by a
divisor of 8 or a prescaler of 64) that can be used with
an external clock source. With the 5MHz internal clock source,
the pacer clock can generate sampling rates precise from
.01 S/sec to 100 kS/sec. The Daqp-16 also has 8 TTL compatible
digital I/O channels, each of which can be used for control
or monitoring.
The Daqp-16Suite CD is included
with the card. It contains Daqp-16DRIVE, a software driver
supporting various programming languages including Visual
C++, Delphi and Visual Basic. The CD also includes drivers
which interface to Daqez, Daqez Plus, TestPoint, DASYLab,
and LabVIEW. Programming languages are supported under Windows
98/ME/2000/XP. |
