The LTM-PDQ1 standalone system
offers an affordable solution monitor up to 16 points of temperature.
This standalone controller features a local numerical display
for onsite monitoring. Built-in functions allows the user
to scroll through each sensor and its readings manually or
automatically. Certain features such as low / high alarms
values may be locally configured using the simple push buttons
on the front panel. The LTM-PDQ1's onboard RS-485 port used
in conjunction with a serial data converter allow the system
to connect to the COM port of your PC and to interface with
Azova's Thermaview software.
In the LTM-PDQ1 System, there are four key elements that
form the system:
กค PC
กค LTM-PDQ1 Controller
กค Cable System
กค Sensor Network
System Function Overview
The LTM-PDQ1 controller continuously transmits commands
through the cable system to communicate with the sensor
network. Once the sensors in the network receive the command,
they return the proper information through the cable system
and eventually back to the LTM-PDQ1 controller. The controller
interprets the information and displays the temperature
readings on the controllers' LED display.
Thermaview, Lance's easy-to-use software detects all your
sensors and can process your measurement data in a variety
of useful ways:
- Display data graphically or numerically.
- Receive alarm notifications when low
or high limits are reached.
- Log data and generate HTML files or Microsoft
Excel reports.
- Remotely monitor and control the LTM-PDQ1
system.
Thermaview software initiates a serials
of serial commands to the LTM-8201C controller through the
COM port on the PC. Once the LTM-PDQ1 controller receives
the commands, it returns the requested information to the
PC. The LTM-PDQ1 controller then sends the data back to
the PC for data analysis and storage.
